I welcome you in my cosy canal house where I have been living for the past 15 years with my daughter Lola and my son Hugo. I work and live downstairs, occasionally with Hugo. Upstairs I let a small appartment with a bed/livingroom , a small diningroom with a fridge, waterkoocker and microwave and a bathroom. The historical centre starts on the other side of the water. parking. Payed in the streets for 3 euro per hour. Or 10 euro per Day in cash to me. Free parking on 15 minutes walking. The space Our over 100 years old canalhouse is located on a two minute walk from the citycenter. I work, live and sleep on the groundfloor tohether with our two cats Ted and Peer. My son Hugo, studies in Arnhem, but stays over often in the gardenhouse. He plays banjo in a bluegrass band. Lola has moved to Amsterdam to study a few years ago but regularly spends a weekend at home. Upstairs I rent a small appartment with a bed/livingroom a bathroom and a small diningroom. Here you can enjoy breakfast or heat something up in the microwave. There is a fridge, microwave and a watercooker. In front of the house (across the small bridge) you will find the city theater, a small pier where you can rent a boat to check out Haarlem from the water. The Sint Bavo cathedral is around the corner and the beach is 25 minutes biking. Also if you want to visit Amsterdam, the train takes you there in 15 minutes. Guest access You will have a private bedroom overlooking our green garden. There is a small wardrobe, a cosy corner with 2 comfortable chairs and good light and many books. Mostly in Dutch and english, but you might find some Heinrich Böll or Guy de Maupassant. Furthermore you can use the small breakfast room. The bathroom is recently renovated. I use it only to shower. We have our own toilet downstairs. Washingmachine and dryer are accessible on request. During your stay During your stay you will have all the space and privacy you wish for. However you're always welcome with questions. Other things to note there is payed parking in my neighberhood. 3 euro per hour. However.
