3 miles from the heart of Oxford

My house is a 3 storey town house. Guest room(s) is on top floor by bathroom. One medium bedroom with washbasin plus small bathroom. Adjacent living room with kitchen facilities - kettle, fridge, microwave and Wifi. It is a quiet cul de sac on the edge of Port Meadow with nearby access to the canal which takes you into Oxford. One local corner shop/newsagent. Gastro pub with garden and community pub within 3 mins. Good bus service approx every 12 minutes into city centre. The space This house was built in the sixties so it is light with big windows. The bathroom is smallish with an over bath shower. There are two armchairs in the living room which also has a small table with two chairs. The bedroom has a great view towards the meadow. I have two cats, brother and sister called Felix and Luna, they are not allowed in the guest accommodation. Guest access Guests have their own bedroom with washbasin and their own siting room next door which has a fridge, kettle and microwave so you can make a sandwich, heat soup or chill a bottle of wine. Tea and coffee are also provided. The bedroom is next to the bathroom which is only shared with me. During your stay Although recently retired I am out and about during the week - yoga, choir, volunteering and socialising. I'm usually around in the evenings for any questions or information. My mother was Dutch so I speak Dutch as well as German and French and I am learning Spanish as my grandson will be bi lingual in Spanish and English. Other things to note The Close itself is very quiet but there are two pubs within three minutes walking distance and a local shop round the corner.
