Perfect for honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, bridal retreats, or just quiet getaways for two, our three-room Honeymoon Suite at The Brewster Inn is rustic, yet elegant. This tastefully appointed suite at our bed & breakfast in Dexter, ME features a graceful queen-size bed and a spacious sitting area with sofa and gas log fireplace for cozy evenings after days of sightseeing. The natural wood paneling lends warm ambience to the space, as does the nostalgic cheval mirror and the well-filled bookcase, which takes up the whole wall. Curl up in front of the fireplace for a romantic evening, or watch a movie on the adjacent television. If needed, additional guests may be accommodated on the double futon in the small sitting room (not shown), which also features two well-stocked bookcases. The spacious private bathroom features a whirlpool tub for two, as well as a shower stall. Communal living room. Dining room that can be used as workspace. Screened porch, covered back patio, gardens. We live in the home and are available throughout the day to help guests with any needed information or tips on the area. We personally prepare breakfast each morning which is included in the price of the room. Breakfast includes a hot dish (such as Blueberry French Toast), cereals, breads, eggs, fruit salad and more. As well as coffee, tea, juice and milk. Dexter is a small town located in the geographic center of Maine, just a 45 min drive to Bangor, and 50 min to the nearest coast or Moosehead Lake region. Lake Wassokeag is within easy walking distance of the Inn. There is an interconnecting trail system (ITS 85) within 300ft from our front door, it is great for walking, atv riding and snowmobiling. The trails go as far north as the Moosehead lake region and Canada. With the Brewster Inn as your base there is so much you can do in Maine from here, such as: white water rafting, hiking, moose watching, wilderness tours, kayaking, snowmobiling, atv riding, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, ice fishing, winery tours, antiquing. Even the sights and sounds of the author Stephen King's books and film locations (including 3 that are within 15 minutes of the Inn, and his home is 45 min away). A lot of our guests tell us that we have extremely comfortable beds and great water pressure for showers. Our Inn and guest rooms are incredibly clean. We personally double check each room prior to guest arrival.
