There is a wide set of stairs from the parking area down to the front door of the cottage. While there is no handrail, there is a low wall that parallels the steps that can be used as support, as needed. I love to meet and greet my guests and make sure they know of all the great things there are to do in the area. I speak several languages (German, Spanish, French). A very green, quiet residential neighborhood that is close to downtown Portland (by car or bus) and has plenty of things within walking distance as well. Close to freeways, and there is a bus system as well. Walking is great in this neighborhood, and there are wilderness trails very close as well.
