It’s a great base for a couple or small family to explore Salcombe, Dartmouth and the surrounding beaches. There are 17 privately owned properties which share 7 acres of gardens. This part of Devon is known for beautiful countryside and beaches, secret green lanes, and a host of good pubs and restaurants. We are 3 miles from the sea at Torcross, and 10 miles from both Salcombe and Dartmouth. Guest access Guests have access to the whole flat which is on the ground floor of a restored tithe barn. It has its own entrance with a key box by the front door for easy 24-hour access. Other things to note As well as the super-king bed (or twin beds) in the bedroom, there’s a very comfortable pull-down double bed in the lounge which makes it an economical option for a family. Crocus can accommodate a couple or small family (2 adults and 2 children) - it’s a squeeze for 4 adults. The lanes around us are very narrow with passing points. Although we have WiFi, it isn’t a strong signal due to the rural location.
