Wake to the sound of church bells, eat breakfast in bed then head out to explore the beauty and peace of Dartmoor. On your return to the cottage, relax in the deep, deep bath with a bottle of fizz, listen to vinyl on the record player or sink into the sofa and read a book. The space You will want to spend a lot of time in the large bedroom and bath area while you're here. You can chat as one of you lounges on the bed and the other soaks in the deep bath. The living room is sumptuous and cosy, with a wood burner for the winter nights and rich fabrics and blankets to snuggle into. At the back of the kitchen is our honesty bar, made from wood local to the cottage. On the side of the cottage is a small utility shed, the perfect place to hang wet coats and muddy boots. Please note the cottage sits on the village green so there is no garden, but there is a lovely bench that faces the afternoon sun at the front which makes the perfect spot for a gin and tonic.
