Description
Cosy stone cottage nestled in Amberley village on Minchinhampton Common. Stumbling distance from two great local pubs. A fantastic base for a Cotswold adventure; rambling country walks, one of the many stately homes, wildlife parks, foodie indulgences or a trip to the amazing local vineyard (which you can see from bed!). Set over 3 floors the cottage has quirks & character. The woodburner, range cooker, two reception rooms and king suite under the exposed beams help make for a memorable stay The space As the cottage is old and built in the traditional style it has some quirks that you should know about. The ceilings aren't the highest so anyone above 6' may have to crouch during their showers and mind their head when going through doorways! The ensuite master bedroom occupies the entire top floor which is fantastic, but it doesnt have a door so you can hear what’s happening in the living room (if you happen to retire to bed before the rest of your group). The second bedroomdoes have a door and is off the middle floor living room and has its own ensuite. We have a small courtyard garden out front with a couple of chairs but what the cottage lacks in outside space is made up by the hundreds of acres of common land metres from the front gate on which to walk the dogs/picnic/play games. This is our home so you will be staying amidst our posessions, there will be plenty of space for you to make the place feel like your own whilst you're staying but we ask that you respect our property by leaving/returning our things to where you find them.
