A self contained one bedroom granny flat with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, outdoor patio/garden, and private entrance door. The granny flat is joined to our family home, a large 5 bedroomed house in the beautiful seaside village of Blackrock, Co Louth. We are less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants on the seafront of the village, from where there is a regular bus service in to Dundalk. The space Accommodation is in a Granny Flat on the ground floor, and includes a bedroom (double bed), private bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. The granny flat can sleep 2 adults (double bed) and there is the possibility of an extra bed (mattress) for a 3rd person/child (under 12 years). Guest access We have free wi-fi (great signal) a smart TV (guests can login to their Netflix, Prime, etc.) in the granny flat. The granny flat is attached to the main house, but is completely self contained with its own back entrance door to ensure the privacy of guests. There is a small private patio garden to the rear of the granny flat, with direct access to the large garden of the main house. Other things to note It is advisable to come by car as public transport is limited. Off street parking for one car on the property. The granny flat is not equipped for young children. The granny flat is “accessible” in so far as it is all on one level with just one step at the entrance. However, it is not specifically designed for wheelchair access.
