Las Caobas

The pool will be temporarily closed from July 24 to September 13 of this current year 2023. You will find the apartment to be very comfortable for a couple with 1-2 children or 3 adult guests. The space Welcome to Las Caobas at Monte Vista. We named it after the beautiful tree that creates the wood that makes the furniture in this apartment. We bought this apartment in March of 2022 and have been making improvements a little at a time. I’m sure you will be comfortable here. Our apartment, 605 La Caoba, is located on the second floor of a 4 story building. There is a convenient walkway/ramp to the second floor that makes access easy for bringing in luggage and groceries. NOT a lot of stairs to climb. It also is more private than the ground floor apartments as there will be no guests walking in front of you while sitting outside. Our apt is situated in the middle of the building facing the pool and has beautiful pool views from ALL rooms plus a large, covered terrace with views of the entire pool area, Island Bar and Restaurant. Apartments on either side of us have a smaller terrace and some rooms with no pool views. Our middle apartment is more desirable with a better floor plan. There is a $10 cleaning fee for each reservation and for longer stays there is a $10 cleaning fee per week for changing sheets, towels and apartment cleaning. There is a security safe for your valuables in the bedroom closet. NO pets. 605 La Caoba is a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment. Approximately 550 square foot including covered terrace. ( 57+ square meters) Table and chairs inside and out, Sofa bed in living room, coffee table, comfortable upholstered chairs, 32 inch cable TV, fast internet, ceiling and floor fans too! Kitchen has cold water dispenser, refrigerator/freezer, gas range with oven, micro wave oven, blender and sandwich/plancha press. Bedroom has strong, cold Air Conditioning, 32” Smart TV for Netflix, Prime and YouTube. King size bed with beautiful Caoba headboard and nightstands with lamps. Monte Vista has the feel of a Destination Resort with a Registration Area open 24/7, Front desk, help with check in and check out with your luggage. An Airport Shuttle service to Puerto Plata is soon to be in service!! Ask about the new SPA coming soon. Massage, salon etc….! The Management, Maintenance and Cleaning crews are super friendly and experienced. There is in house laundry servive available upon request. Sosua is a busy community and has 2 great beaches, Sosua Bay and Alicia Beach. Great night life, lots of resturants and shopping.
