Glendale Cottage Skye, pet friendly, lovely views

A fabulous, well-equipped and spacious bungalow located in the picturesque Minginish Peninsula on West coast of the Isle of Skye, the Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the dramatic scenery of this beautiful island. It also makes a great base for those who wish to walk or climb in the Cuillin. Lovely Sea and mountain views from the rooms, a large enclosed garden and off road parking, the Cottage also welcomes dogs. The space This 3 bedroom modern bungalow has a lovely home from home feel. From the open kitchen/dining area to the large living room with patio doors leading on to the deck which overlooks the garden and Loch Harport, there's a feeling of space and light. Off the master bedroom there is a large en-suite bathroom with spa bath and there is a second shower room off the hall. All rooms have either sea or mountain views. The Cottage has oil-fired heating and a log burning stove. Heating, electric and logs are included in the price. Wifi throughout and smart tv with freesat channels for chilled out evenings. The garden is relatively secluded and has been partly left to grow wild to encourage wildlife. We have a great variety of garden birds visiting the feeders. We also get regular views of white tailed eagles and buzzards from the Cottage. Amazing sunsets all year round and in the darker months a superb location for star-gazing. If you're very lucky you may even see the aurora borealis. Guest access Guests have full access to the Cottage and the garden. There is also a garage for storing bicycles. kayaks or other equipment. There is a small burn running through the garden, therefore we recommend that small children or pets are not left unattended. The Cottage is adjacent to The Studio, both of which share driveway access. Other things to note There are 3 steps leading up to the main entrance door.
