Cozy and convenient, our house is situated in a wooded area on a winding side street in Boone. It is close to numerous attractions in the area. A large bedroom with a king sized bed on the second floor has a separate entrance and a newly renovated ensuite bathroom. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a small table and 2 chairs for dining or working. Surrounded by gardens and woods, there is a private patio area which is perfect for morning coffee. The space I live in the house with my husband, Rick, and have been here for 39 years. I love the convenience and the beauty of the area. I am an artist, and maintain a studio on the opposite side of the house. Your room is separated from the rest of the house except for my husband’s study, which is beneath your room. He is usually only there in the daytime. There is a patio in the yard where you can relax. You can conveniently stay for several days without needing to go out. During your stay We are available for interaction if you are so inclined, or we can leave you alone. You decide! Other things to note We have cats, but they are kept away from your room. However, if you are allergic, you might want to pick another place. The room has totally new carpeting, bedding and has been recently repainted. It is a large, sunny and bright room and has both air conditioning and heating. We also have a dog, who will bark when you arrive or leave. She stays on our side of the house.
