Welcome to my city retreat! 1 bedroom, ground floor apartment with private entrance and off road parking, in the quiet & leafy Bournville area, convenient for B'ham Uni & QE Hospital. The bars and restaurants of Stirchley are a few minutes walk, as are bus and train services to the city. Or, relax in your own canal side area with covered seating. As your host, I've curated the space to reflect Birmingham and the apartment is personally managed, so you will always be in direct contact with me. The space Heron's Rest is a peaceful ground-floor apartment tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with very little passing traffic. The apartment forms part of a small building with just four other homes, each with its own private entrance, giving you privacy and independence throughout your stay. Entrance Access the apartment through your own private front door with an automatic security light. There is one step up into the entrance hallway. Living room Relax on the comfortable sofa after a day exploring Birmingham or working nearby. The living room features a 4K Smart TV, while the large window with blinds and curtains fills the room with natural light. Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Tea, coffee, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll and a few welcome treats are provided to help you settle in. Bathroom The bathroom includes a shower, wash basin and toilet. Fresh towels, toiletries and toilet paper are all provided. Bedroom The bedroom features a comfortable King size bed with four pillows, quality bedding and wardrobe / storage space. Please note that the apartment accommodates a maximum of two guests and is not suitable for parties or events. Throughout the apartment you'll find artwork inspired by Birmingham's heritage, adding a local touch to this peaceful city retreat. The property is also well connected, with regular bus services and nearby rail links providing easy access to Birmingham city centre and beyond. Other things to note The apartment is located in a peaceful, leafy residential area. A railway line runs on the opposite side of the canal, approximately 27 metres away. The apartment benefits from modern double glazing, but you may occasionally hear a passing train. Most guests find the area quiet and are not disturbed.
