Alpji Hängula, alpine paradise at 1850 m

Enjoy alpine life in the middle of a beautiful 1.5-hectare alpine pasture with an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Dom, Weissmies. The Alpji, built in 1686, offers a journey through time for its guests. The Stübli and the kitchen are still in the original state of the alpine inn (until 2019 it had 3 cows and cheese was produced daily). The place is perfect to immerse yourself in mountain nature, watch deer through the window early in the morning, and enjoy the sound of the larches. The space The Alpji has a wet room with hot water for showering, washing dishes and hands. It has a flushing toilet in a separate extension, a bio toilet. Cooking is done either on wood or on 2 induction plates. The wood is not included in the price: if desired, it can be bought in the Coop or collected in the forest. You can fire in the wood-burning stove, but not in the Giltstein oven, as it no longer meets today's requirements. Bed linen and bath towel are brought by the guests. Mattress size: one 1.4 x 2 m - all others are 90 cm x 2 m. Guest access 15,000 m² of land and the whole house including - kitchen, parlor, bedroom, bathroom, hayloft with beds. Other things to note The Alpji cannot be reached by car. The Riederalp is car-free and these are parked in Mörel.
