Bruce Peninsula, Howdenvale Cottage.

Our cottage is located in Howdenvale, approximately 44 minutes to Tobermory and the Grotto. We are 20 minutes to Sauble Beach. My cottage is a good option for couples and families (with kids) looking for a local beach and spending time close by. Not an ideal location if you want to spend all your time in Tobermory. Large front and back entertainment areas with BBQ on back deck. Outdoor fire pit. The space Howdenvle (previously known as Golden Valley) and a place with beautiful sunsets. This 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom cottage is located across the road from the lake. We have 2 lounge areas and a dining area that offers access to both front and back decks to enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. A fully equipped kitchen so all you need to bring is food. A large front and back yard offers a quire prove setting. There is a sandy beach and boat launch within 5 minute walk. Sauble beach and Sauble Falls are close by. Red bay beach is a 5 minute drive. The Bruce Peninsula Parks are a day trip and Tobermory is approximately 45 minutes away. St. Jean Point is a great place to hike and watch the sunsets and there are many hiking trails along the Niagara Escarpment. Good Kyaking, boating and fishing. Perfect if you love the water. * PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO LINENS IN THE COTTAGE . Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and decks and property ( excluding garage) and there is parking for 4 vehicles PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO LINENS IN THE COTTAGE . If you need accommodations for more than 8 people, I can look for additional properties close by or contact Red Bay Lodge. There is a water cooler if you would like to bring a large bottle of water. We do not supply water and large jugs that fit on a cooler are supplied at all grocery stores. Alternatively please bring bottled water for drinking Other things to note Guests are required to leave the cottage clean and tidy. Dishes must be done and put away clean. Everyone’s clean is different and the cleaning fee is charged as the cottage takes 2 1/2 hours to clean to Airbnb protocol. All spaces and surfaces are washed down and cleaned with sanitizer along with floors and furniture. Bathrooms are sanitized and the cottage is made safe for each arrival. There is a BBQ and again if you use them, clean them. No pets as there are guests who have allergies. This is our second home and we know you will love it as much as we do PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO LINENS ( sheets,pillow cases and towels) IN THE COTTAGE .
