The River Treehouse

Feel welcomed and at home in our cozy Treehouse, situated on the Knysna salt river. We would love to have you! The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep 5 people, it has a private swimming pool and a view overlooking the Knysna estuary, Salt River, and the Knysna Heads. Nestled between the forest and the river the feeling it gives is of utmost relaxation and escapism. The space Tucked away between the Knysna milkwood trees, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Enjoy direct access to the Knysna Salt River, long swims in the pool, cozy nights by the indoor fireplace, and relaxing baths in the Victorian bathtub overlooking the Knysna forest. Guests love easy forest walks around the neighborhood and especially recommend the Friday night Knysna Food Market (7 minutes walk away). Guest access Before entering the Riverglades estate please contact our caretaker Dwayne, who will open the gate upon your arrival and will show you around the house. Other things to note Directions: From the N2 highway you turn into Welbedacht road, pass the Knysna hollow and then Right into Meterlekamp road. When the road forks you stay right which will lead you up a steep hill and into the Riverglades estate. It's a circular drive in the estate so keep right and follow the road to number 14. It's quite hidden under trees but you will recognize it on the wooden parking deck. Please note there is a full time caretaker by the name of Dwayne that will gladly assist. He takes care of the properties from 8 am to 5 pm.
