We have retained many features like beams and inglenook fireplace. However, with two modern extensions the property benefits from a larger kitchen and bathroom as well as a third bedroom and a dining room. Lots of space to relax in! We have an organic farm and try to be as eco friendly as possible. there is an air source heat pump central heating system, and we provide logs from a local sustainable wood yard for the log burner at a very reasonable price after your initial free load runs out! All the cleaning products are eco friendly too. There are amazing views from the front of the cottage across the bay, and we are a short walk from Nant Gwytheryn and the welsh language centre which has a great café and visitor centre. You can also climb to the top of Yr Eifl mountain just by walking 5 mins from the back door! Great for walkers, we also have a lockable shed for storing your bikes. We farm just across the road and have lived here on the hill for 20 years so have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you. We can even teach you some Welsh! (Please note...the bathroom is on the ground floor) Guest access The whole cottage is at your disposal for the length of your stay. Only guests named on the booking form are able to stay overnight. Please contact us if you need to amend your booking. Other things to note There is a shop and a pub in the village, a short walk down the hill. Please note, opening hours vary in these community run amenities, and the pub does not serve food currently (2024). The car space is a short uphill walk from the cottage and is for one car only. There is no parking attached to the booking for more than one car. There are steps onto the terrace, please chat to me before booking if you have limited mobility.
