Perfect for dog lovers, with great walks from the house and in the grounds. The space This space has all the luxurious touches you would expect from a boutique hotel combined with the space and relaxed ambience of a self-catering cottage. Boasting two large bedrooms with ample built-in wardrobes and shelving space for storage with Hypnos super-king beds (one of which can be split into two singles) and Egyptian Cotton linen and luxury fluffy towels and bathrobes. One ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Two shower rooms. Fully equipped spacious kitchen with granite worktops, Bosch appliances including oven, dishwasher microwave and washing machine, Dualit toaster and kettle, Nespresso compatible coffee machine, television, tumble dryer and clothes airer. Hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Table and 4 chairs. The sitting room has two corner sofas, two coffee tables, Television with Sky, Apple TV, DVD player with large collection of DVDs, wood burning stove with logs and kindling supply and Solid oak flooring throughout with oriental rugs. Contemporary artworks by Govinder, Nazran, Mackenzie Thorpe and Sophie Ryder. Outside there is a large terrace with gas barbeque together with a large wooden table and 4 chairs and two easy chairs and a coffee table and 2 loungers. In the garden there is another table and 4 chairs perfect for sunset drinks and there are wooden benches in the garden. In the village 7 minutes walk away is the award winning Community Pub, the Alhampton Inn. 10 minutes walk away is Higher Farm with its table to farm restaurant and wild swimming lake. Guest access This is a self contained home with its own access and with a private terrace which leads onto paddocks and gardens surrounding the property. Parking for two cars. Other things to note Pets are welcome. Please can they sleep in sitting room and not be allowed on furniture and beds. One of the super-king Hypnos beds can be rearranged as twin beds. Pillows are top quality feather but we have hypo- allergenic alternatives on request. There are security cameras covering the car park, the main entrance and the surrounds of the buildings on site. Electric cars can be charged via a 32amp supply. We ask guests to clean the barbeque with the brush provided after use.
