Shepherds Hut with Hot Tub in Rural Warwickshire

The Pig Hut Escape to the privacy and tranquillity of The Pig Hut, our sole self contained Shepherd’s Hut in over an acre of its own land. The Pig Hut offers accommodation for two, on the banks of our picturesquely lit pond and overlooking our paddock to the rear. The Hut is on mains electricity, heated and is fully equipped with a kitchen oven/hob and en-suite bathroom. Fast WiFi. Guests also have the sole use of an outside electric hot tub with canopy. The space NB For Xmas bookings check in is not possible on 24th, 25th or 26th Dec. We have equipped the hut with everyday items to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Lounge / Bedroom: The drop down table in the seating / dining area makes way for a ready made up drop down double bed. Easy and takes seconds to operate. Kitchen. Combined oven and grill; two ring induction hob; fridge (with small freezer compartment) toaster and kettle; as well as all the necessary cooking utensils, pans etc. Bathroom: Mains toilet, basin and shower (hot and cold mains water supply). Storage: Whilst we would encourage guests to pack light, due to limited space, the hut does have overhead storage lockers and small wardrobe for clothes; and small cupboard and additional woven storage baskets for food storage and under-seat storage area. Linen: Guests will be provided with bedding, towels, toilet rolls, robes and slippers for their use during their stay with us. These items must not be removed when guests leave. Outside: There is an outside light and a welly rack for storage of any muddy boots, as well as a table, reclining chairs, picnic rug and BBQ, which is available for guests use, although guests will need to bring their own briquettes. Always lots of wildlife to be seen. Deer, foxes, kingfishers, heron, and lots of other wild creatures. A large pond is directly in front of the property, with a floating pontoon accessible via a number of steps. The deep pond is not suitable for swimming. Entertainment: A Smart TV is fitted and hooks up to the supplied fast WiFi. Amazon Alexa is also present for music and information. USB charging points are provided - please bring your own charging cables. A limited number of games and books are available for guests to use during their stay. Pigs. We are currently pigless, but hope to secure some rescue animals again. Guest access Access is via a private drive with large wooden gates and free private off road parking. Combination lock code will be provided for your arrival. A trolley is available for movement of luggage. Wellies are advisable given it is the UK! Keysafe is available for self check in. Charge your EV car (13a) while you relax. Uber services are available in the area. Just eat, Uber Eats etc all within range for over 100 restaurants. Other things to note We have had fantastic reviews in our first 4 years. There is an outside fire pit for your use and a supply of logs. We also have 16amp supply in the field if you want to use a motorhome for your travels and you are welcome to plug in. The pond is lit at night if you wish and has a circular walkway. Wooden rustic seating is provided right across the site. The canopy for the tub is moveable (by request to host) to enable outside seating to be covered.
