A modern home in the heart of the vibrant inner city suburb of Mt Lawley & 5 min drive to CBD. The home has everything you need. We are SOLAR powdered & LED lights. You are close to our famous cafe strip on Beaufort St. & only 1 minute walk to great coffee, bars, food & range of specialty shops & close to public transport. Onsite park for 1 car & free street park. Amazing value & we cater for couples & families & larger groups. DO NOT book if you are a group of young singles. Min. 3 night stay The space This is a free standing home, not a town house, not an apartment and nor is the home part of a complex of shared properties. We have installed Solar Panels and replaced the majority of the lighting with LED lights. We are mindful of our environmental responsibilities and this investment in Solar Panels and LED lighting will significantly reduce our carbon footprint. We have also recently installed a reverse osmosis, 7 stage filtration, including UV light water purification system for drinking water while you stay too. We cater for couples, families & larger groups only and so please come and stay with us. We will no longer accept bookings from individual guests or a group of singles as sadly our experience with individual guests has been poor as our recent experiences are that individual guests don’t seem to want to follow our evening noise rules nor our gatherings rule and we are so sorry for generalisations but we have made this decision as two recent bookings, from individual single guests, that have gone very wrong and so we will no longer take that risk. The master bedroom (with ensuite) is configured with queen sized bed as well as 55" smart TV, reverse cycle air conditioning, walk in robe with clothes hangers and also weights and weight bench. This bedroom also has glass doors which opens to your own outdoor terrace with great views to our beautiful Perth city scape. A great place for a quiet morning coffee with the newspaper. Bedroom 2, with views to our Perth city landscape too, has queen size bed with reverse cycle air conditioning and walk in robe with clothes hangers. Bedroom 3 is configured with 2 x king singles, built in robe with clothes hangers and reverse cycle air conditioning. All the upstairs bedrooms have high ceilings and all bedrooms have wooden floors finished in a beautiful black Japanese lacquer. In case of guests with smaller children, we can also provide high chair/s and portable cot and we can install child gate at the top of the stairs and so please let us know in advance so we can ensure these items are ready for you when you check in. The downstairs is where the kitchen, the living, the dining and the laundry are all located as well as a powder room (3rd toilet). This downstairs space can be cooled and warmed with a large reverse cycle air conditioner. The dining area has bifold doors that can be opened up to a cosy outdoor area and great to open when entertaining a larger group. The living room has a massive lounge, which has a fold out double bed which can allow for those extra guests. The living room also has a huge flat screen 75" smart TV with sound bar and subwoofer, which is perfect combination for watching sport or a blockbuster movie on Netflix, just sign in with your Netflix account. We have also included some board games too. We have a music tower to connect your phone so you can play your own music during yr stay. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, fridge, toaster, kettle, delongi Nespresso coffee pod machine, microwave and fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils including food processor, rice cookers and toaster as well as plates, cups, glasses, including wine glasses, whisky glasses and decanter, chopping boards and all cutlery as well as storage containers for leftovers. We’ve tried to think of everything that our guests may need for an enjoyable stay. We also include coffee pods and tea as well. The laundry, is just off the kitchen, and includes washing machine + dryer. Where weather permits, we also have outside clothesline + pegs as well as washing powder + clothes softener. The house has high ceilings throughout including the downstairs living areas which provides that amazing sense of space. The house is well positioned to get lots of natural light during the day. We also offer free WiFi as part of your stay + we have also provided a small HP inkjet printer with paper for yr use which can be accessed through the wifi or direct from your tablet, iPad, smart phone or laptop. Instructions for connection can be found in the top left draw above the printer. All linen, towels, tea towels, doona covers and mattress protectors are laundered thru a commercial laundry. We also use professional cleaners but we regularly inspect their work and while they do an amazing job, we have set very high standards and that sometimes means we need to provide some top up cleaning. We also include shampoo + conditioner + body-wash. Guest access Depending on guest numbers and yr requirements, you will have access to the entire house. Where we have a couple only, we lock the other bedrooms and we lock the other upstairs bathroom as this allows us to keep our costs down so we can continue to offer a competitive nightly rate. Other things to note Our local city council allows up to 3 cars to street park without cost.
