Farmstay Scottland Yard -Wisteria- Glamping Tent

The Wisteria fits 2 adults and 1 child. This tent has a double bed, a small fold down love seat for child, frig, coffee station, dresser, and love seat. The tent is NOT heated or air conditioned. We provide electric blankets and a fan in each tent for hot or chilly nights. There is wifi access in the common areas/public spaces. There is nearby access to swimming, "The Duck Duck Go"- an outdoor shower and bathroom/2 shared full baths located in the great hall. The space This cozy 12x14 glamping tent is perfect for 2–3 guests and includes: One double bed and one small daybed (great for a child) Mini fridge, coffee station, fan, electric blanket All linens, bedding, and towels provided A private fire pit and park-style grill for outdoor cooking 🔥 Please Note: The tent is not heated or air conditioned. An electric blanket and a fan are provided for your comfort, but we recommend checking the forecast and packing accordingly for a true camping-style stay. 🦚 Farm Life Experience You’ll enjoy the company of free-roaming peacocks, peahens, and chickens, plus two friendly horses who love a scratch over the fence. As a working farm, mornings can start early—we provide earplugs in the bedside table for lighter sleepers. You may also meet other glampers or guests on the property during your stay. 🥚 Farm-Fresh Touches When our hens are laying, guests are welcome to enjoy dark-yolked eggs for breakfast! Take a dip in our beautiful natural spring-fed swimming pond, complete with a sandy beach and colorful koi fish that guests are welcome to feed. Safety Note: Children 5 and under, and non-swimmers, must bring and wear a life jacket when near or in the pond There is no lifeguard on duty; swimming is at your own risk 🛍️ On-Site Shops We offer two sweet little stores right on the farm: The Mercantile Carries essentials and treats such as: Coffee, s’mores kits, roasting sticks Local beverages, breakfast snacks, juice Treats for koi, rabbits, birds, and horses Toiletries and camp basics The Traveler’s Trunk Boutique A curated gift shop with: Jewelry, handmade soaps, incense T-shirts, dresses, and local artisan gifts 🐾 Pet-Friendly Pets are welcome! If you plan to bring more than one pet, please let us know in advance. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all: Pets must be leashed at all times on the farm They should be well-behaved, child-friendly, and dog-friendly No excessive barking, and pets must not be left unattended unless crated Please clean up after your pet immediately — a nearby field and waste stations are available No dog swimming allowed in the lined pond Pets must be free of fleas and up to date on vaccinations ⚠️ Seasonal Notes During summer and fall, occasional power outages may occur due to weather or road-related issues. While we normally run on fresh spring water, we may temporarily switch to well water, which is completely safe—though it can carry a natural sulfur smell. It’s actually known to be beneficial for skin and hair! Just a short 15-minute drive from Ithaca, with gorges, wineries, and hiking nearby, the Wisteria Tent offers a peaceful farm getaway with a little wild charm. Guest access We have a lovely well appointed indoor kitchen you have full access to as well as numerous round outdoor bistro tables and a picnic table in the common outdoor space. *The outdoor kitchen and family propane grill are reserved for our family. You will have access to 2 full bathrooms within the great hall building and "The Duck Duck Go", a charming outdoor shower/restroom. You also have access to the beach and all common area bistro tables. You may enjoy the grounds, hammocks, pool and shops. You may pet the horses and hang out and cuddle Leo in the rabbit pen. You may feed animals only the treats provided in the shops. *You do not have access to others private rented spaces, the great hall, the barns and enclosed pastures, and private homes. WiFi service can occasionally be impacted by weather, power outages, or provider-related issues that are outside of our control. While these situations are rare, we want guests to be aware and able to plan accordingly. Other things to note Our pet fees are 35.00 per night per pet. Airbnb doesn't provide a way to collect the nightly pet fees. We will collect them through the Airbnb resolution center when you check in with your pet. Additionally we have a few rules you need to know about before deciding to bring them with you: #1- They must be on leash at all times when here on the farm. #2-They are required to be, well behaved, kid friendly and other dog friendly. #3-They may not be barking constantly day and night, and may not be left at the farm while you are sight seeing or they need to be crated. #4-Their lawn (yard) poops need to be immediately scooped up and disposed of by owners unless the dogs do their business in the nearby field which is provided for your convenience at our pet clean up stations! #5-No dog swimming allowed in the lined ponds on the property. #6- Pets must be up to date with their vaccinations and be free of fleas. ****EVERY CHILD 5 AND UNDER, OR ANY NON SWIMMER, MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN LIFE JACKET WHEN IN OR AROUND THE POND. IF ANY NON SWIMMERS ARE OCCUPYING THE SPACE WITHOUT A LIFE-JACKET, THEY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE AREA. SWIM AT OWN RISK- NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. -Day driving distance to Ithaca's gorges, and wine trails. -Ithaca has some of the finest dining in the world! Check the weather and dress appropriately please! -There are over 200 wineries in the Finger Lakes Region and many are within an hours drive. The closest one to us is Six Mile Creek Vineyard about 5 miles away. -Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM. please be conscious and respectful of other guests. Kitchen stove, sink, counters pots, pans mustard be cleaned. Dishes must be cleaned dried and put away after each use before leaving the area! ****July 4th weekend- please take into consideration before booking! There are fireworks (that can be heard) nearby at the neighbors homestead. Our July 4th weekend guests are invited to attend the neighborhood display. The display is not on our property. Our farm is located close enough that the fireworks are still loud. Dogs, fellow travelers, and/or children traveling with you may get frightened during the 15 minute display. Free check in is from 3PM to 9PM, if you are to arrive later that 9PM please be advised we will need to make special arrangements with staff and you will need to let us know before hand.
