The space The Glicine Apartment is located in the nineteenth-century steam mill of San Giovanni (now disused) that overlooks the sea 10 meters from the bay of Portoferraio. During World War II, the place was used as an elementary and middle school. Glicine consists of a large living room with a masonry kitchenette, a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. From the living room, you can access the windowed loft with a double bed via an iron and wood staircase. Glicine is furnished with care and attention to materials and details, in a simple but personal style. Glicine is located about 2.5 km from Portoferraio, the capital of the island, but it is also relatively close to the most typical Elban locations: Porto Azzurro (8 km); Capoliveri (12 km); Marina di Campo (14 km); Marciana Marina (16 km).
