Private bedroom, bath, and kitchenette, PLUS a semi-private* cozy den. (*In cold weather, we'll come down to light the woodstove) Walk out to porch, gardens and wooded paths. A perfect location for visiting Richmond, Williamsburg and central VA wineries. There are several golf courses nearby ranging from pricey and challenging to friendly and affordable. Three miles from the Conservation Park of VA, host to major shooting competitions and 5 miles from the Capital Trail bike path. The space We are so pleased to welcome you to our home. The private guest suite is located on the first level, a 1200 square foot English (walk-out) basement, with private entrance. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed with deluxe linens, comfortable chair, and ample closet space. The full private bath is across the hall from the bedroom. Guests will have private use of a kitchenette which has a fridge, sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, and utensils. Guests have shared use of a large den with comfy couches and large wall mounted TV/DVR. All spaces will be cleaned prior to your arrival. There is no additional cleaning fee. Guest access There is a separate entrance for guest's convenience, accessible via keyless entry. We also have a private, partially covered porch for guest use. During your stay Guests will be greeted on arrival. We offer as much or as little interaction as you like. If you visit in the cold weather, we will build a fire in the wood stove located in the first level den. We're happy to provide suggestions for places to go or to answer any questions about the area. Other things to note You will find a grocery store, Walgreens, gas stations, coffee shop and fast food outlets near the intersection of Rt 60 (Pocahantas Parkway) and Rt 249/33, near exit 205 off I64 - about 10 minutes from the house. Our guest suite is not suitable for children under age 14. We share the house with our two standard poodles. Guests may encounter the dogs while entering and exiting the property. They are friendly and well-behaved. There is a gate placed at the entrance to the inside stairwell and our pets are not allowed in the guest bedroom or bathroom at any time.
