Located in historic Grand County Colorado, we are just minutes away from several popular ski resorts including Winter Park, Mary Jane, Granby Ranch to name a few. The towns of Winter Park, Fraser and Tabernash are all situated in a high mountain park at elevations above 8500 feet. The valley is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and three wilderness areas packed full of scenic and sporting value. The space The 4 bedroom Moose Run Cabin is located in an upscale neighborhood, complete with trail system and 3+ acres. The subdivision backs up to National Forest, yet is less than 3 miles to Fraser, and 10 miles to Winter Park Ski Resort. It has its own private hot tub on 775 square feet of mahogany decking and even includes its own sledding hill (sleds and other sporting equipment offered). You may book both the Cabin and other neighborhood homes I manage (for sleeping capacity of 30), to receive a 15% discount on all properties. Note: the prices listed are for the Cabin only...neighboring properties may require 30+ day stay. An electronic lease is required to be on file prior to your stay. Moose Run Subdivision is just above Fraser's Tubing Hill and Rodeo and is made up of only 40 large estate lots with 25 homes currently built. This unique area includes exclusive entry to the Northwest Passage Trail for access to all primary trails in Arapaho National Forest. Hike, bike, ski or sled right from our home, or get in the car for a 3 minute ride to the rodeo, 5 minute ride to tubing or town, minutes more to 3 ski areas or many choices in golf, and about 35 minutes to boating activities in Granby/Grand Lake. A car is recommended, but if you drive 2-3 miles to the shopping center(s) in Fraser, you can park and ride the free shuttle to many hotspots (including Winter Park Resort, where they drop you closer to the lifts than if you park your own car and take the gondola). A lot makes my Cabin in the pines special, but most people comment on the views and quiet/solitude...even though the location is so convenient to everything Grand County has to offer! Guest access Guests have access to everything in the fully stocked luxury Cabin (as long as you repair or replace what you damage). Other things to note Home wifi speaker for music and other information is at your fingertips or voice command. Wifi through recently installed StarLink to stream Netflix, HBOgo and other apps...or watch movies on large screen (pull down for great room darkening experience). 4 Roku TVs. Games, books and outdoor sporting equipment provided.
