Edo-style inn that was renovated in 2020 (Komin-ke: entire building)

It is an old house built over 140 years ago, located along Onaricho-michi, at the foot of Yatsugatake, with clear air and delicious water. It is an impressive building that overflows with the warmth of wood, built over 2 years with a beam that inherits traditional construction methods and uses plenty of antique materials from the Edo and Meiji periods. There is also a hot spring facility just a 4-minute drive away. You are always welcome! We look forward to welcoming you. The space The guest rooms on the second floor feature a total of 18 tatami mats, including two 6-tatami mats Japanese-style rooms and one 6-tatami mats Western-style room, and are characterized by Taisho Modern-style interiors. There is a large 26-tatami hall on the same 2nd floor. The first floor dining room has a sunken table seating, a traditional Japanese irori seating, and counter seating. Bathroom and toilet are new and clean. The labyrinthine construction, rich in features in each room, is unique in its contrast with the simplicity of the exterior. Guest access The 18-tatami mat room on the second floor is a private space for guests. (If you have 7 or more guests, we will also provide the room on the ground floor. The dining room, large hall, toilet, and bath are accessible. Other things to note Many antiques from the Edo and Meiji periods are used in the interior, and there are gaps in the wood and steps.
