Sokn Gard is located on an operating farm on the island Sokn, a 15 minutes drive from Stavanger, near Utstein Monastery. Sokn Gard is an ideal base to relax and explore the wonderful area of the Norwegian west coast. Day trip to Pulpit Rock or Kjerag possible. Our house features a modern kitchen and bathroom, and is surrounded by fields, animals and a coastal landscape. The house have AC Type 2 plug 7kW charging point for el. car. The space The house is a well suited base for your exploration of Rogaland. If you start your excursion early in the morning, you will be able to visit The Pulpit Rock, Månafossen and Kjeragbolten. It is also possible to visit Utstein Monastery nearby and kids will enjoy Kongeparken. Guest access Guests have their own entrance and the entire house is exclusively available. Other things to note Planning a few days by the sea and a few days in the mountains we have a cabin in Sirdal (Sageneset holiday center A/S) that is also rented. It takes two hours to drive between the house at Sokn Gard and the cabin in Sirdal.
