Intrepid House provides a perfect place for a relaxing get-away for 2- 4 guests. It can be booked as a 1 bdrm for the listed rate, & the 2nd bdrm/bath is can be added if you book for 3 or 4 people. The Annex (queen bed and full sofa sleeper) a can also be rented separately to accommodate 4 more guests. It’s a 5 min walk through dunes to the ocean beach & Discovery trail. Kids love the arcade and go-carts in town. $60 fee for 1 dog or $90 for 2. No cats due to allergens. A spectacular newer house in a great location! Pet Friendly (Additional $60 pet deep cleaning fee for 1 dog, $90 for 2). The house sleeps up to 4, but the base rental rate is for ONE bedroom. The second bedroom and bathroom can be booked separately-- it is locked off if you don't have more than 2 guests listed in your reservation request. (The rate you see is correct for both bedrooms being included if you list 3 or 4 guests). There is an additional $40 charge for use of the second bedroom. Each bedroom has a queen bed. There is a bedroom & bathroom on the main entry level, and STAIRS up to the living area with another bedroom and full bath, kitchen, large dining table, deck with propane bbq, and a gas fireplace. There are 2 laundromats nearby. Bring your own beach towels. We provide a set of bathroom towels for each guest. If you need more space, the Annex (on the left side of the house) has its own separate entry, 1 bedroom w/queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room, full kitchen/living room, and full bath. The Annex sleeps 4 and the Main Intrepid House (left part of the house in the photo) sleeps 4 adults for a total of 8 people. Registered guests only, please: no additional visitors, couch-sleepers, parties or events without permission. The garage is not available for guest use. Clams must be cleaned OUTSIDE in the hose, not in the sink inside. There is no electrical vehicle charging at this time, although we are looking into offering it in the future. Peak season weekends are a two night minimum. Last minute, off-season Saturdays, and single night weekend stays between two other reservations are sometimes available, so please check with us about availability if you are in town for just one night. Your code to the electronic keypad on the door is the last 6 digits of your phone number. The code will open the door anytime after 3:00 pm on your check in day, and expire at 11 am on the checkout day. There is a limited of 2 dogs and dogs may not be left unattended at any time, even if crated. If you haven't already paid the pet fee (you would have received a request for additional services through Airbnb as it is not included in the reservation price), please leave $60 for 1 pet or $90 for 2, cash only, no checks) on the counter when you depart. Please: keep pets off furniture and beds, bring a bed for your dog, and do not leave pets unattended in the house at any time. (Additional fees will be charged for pets on furniture or for damage.) There is no garage use and no electric vehicle charging. There are 2 laundromats in town for laundry. If you are bringing bicycles, you can lock them to the post. PLEASE: NO BIKES INSIDE THE HOUSE. On a quiet side street just a few minutes walk through the sandy dunes to the Discovery Trail and a gorgeous stretch of ocean beach. The house is walking distance to town (or a 3 minute drive). The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood with one house between it and the dune trail to the beach. Park in front of the garage doors. Please note that the Main Living area in the Intrepid House up a flight of stairs. One bedroom & bath is upstairs. The second bed/bath are on the main floor, but are locked off if you only list 2 guests in your reservation request. If you need both bedrooms, please contact us. There is a propane barbecue (propane provided) on the deck. Bikes can be locked to the deck post outside, but may not be brought in to the house. Clams must be cleaned outside with the hose as sand/gravel/shells in the inside drains are a problem. The kitchen has all utensils, dishes, pots, pans, foil, salt/pepper and sugar. Linens are provided for all beds as are towels and washcloths. We do NOT provide beach towels, so please bring yours. There is a $60 additional cleaning fee for 1 dog or $90 for two dogs as we need to de-allergen deep clean after they visit. Sorry, but we don't allow cats. If you haven't already paid the pet fee, please leave in on the dining table when you leave. We book weekends as a two night minimum until 7 days prior to the weekend, in which case a one night stay may be possible. We book single night stays a week in advance.
