A charming and spacious, thatched cottage with a large garden, situated on a quiet country, no-through, lane and surrounded by stunning views of the countryside. Located in picturesque Horningsham, the village of Longleat Safari Park, there are lots of lovely walks from the doorstep and plenty of attractions to visit in the area. This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Mobile coverage is spotty but there's a landline, and recently-upgraded WiFi fast enough for video streaming. The space The detached cottage, some of it dating back to 16th century, has three bedrooms: the very large master with ensuite bathroom, and a double and single which share the family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a spacious sitting room with wood burning stove and beams, a large, well equipped kitchen with separate dining area, study, utility room, shower room and conservatory. The garden has a large sheltered terrace with space to dine. N.B. the upstairs bathrooms don't have showers, the downstairs bathroom has an eco-shower, which may be less powerful than you're used to. There is parking for up to three cars. Other things to note Mobile reception can be patchy as it is in a valley. You can find some signal to most networks, although you might need to go into the garden. There is wireless internet in the study which reaches most rooms but the interior stone walls means it doesn't reach everywhere .
