Welcome to the most unique and breathtaking desert with views of Joshua Tree National Park from your hot tub and amazing pool! This private home is located in Yucca Valley, a quaint desert town with locally owned cafes, art galleries and vintage shopping. Only six miles to Pioneer Town (Pappy & Harriets) and six miles to Joshua Tree. Our residential hillside location is close to markets, offers luxe linens and a mix of modern + vintage furnishings. Pool may be heated for a fee. The space Welcome to our Hi-Desert Mod home in Yucca Valley. Built-in 1965 lovingly maintained. The kitchen features a newer fridge and freezer (with filtered water), dishwasher, double oven, electric stove + new washer & dryer. The pool and hot tub are situated with a view of Joshua Tree National Park. While there is an outdoor fire pit...the county has a no-burn restrictions from time to time ( check conditions for San Bernardino County). The desert water system is fragile, we ask that you be mindful of towel use. The kitchen is supplied with a toaster, Chemex, drip coffee maker, French press and coffee. in addition to dishes, cookware, utensils, and linens. Enjoy the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen with the passcode located on the bottom. This smart home features pre programed amazing pool, hot tub and exterior lighting so you can sit back and relax with your view of Joshua Tree National Park. Stargaze and enjoy the indoor fireplace after a day of music, hiking and sightseeing. There are three TVs (2 smart, 1 Hulu) with some DVDs. Wifi is commonly shared by four working adults without complaint. Smart TV in the bedrooms and ROKU TV in living room. No lifeguard on duty. There is a fence around the property but not around the pool. Note that there are three doors that lead to the backyard. We are located in a residential neighborhood and parties and unregistered day guests are not allowed. Outdoor quiet time is 10pm to 8 am. The town of Yucca Valley is about a mile down the hill and there is Von's or Stater Bros. for groceries. This is the only home on the property. You will have the entire place to yourselves. We love this home and are excited to make your visit exceptional, please let us know right away if you encounter any issues. We have regular pest control inside-dangerous for pets. The owners are allergic to all animal dander and use the home monthly. HOT TUB INFO: March/April-November: After the pool filters during the day, the hot tub will be heated around 5 pm to 10pm nightly. Dec-March: In extreme snow/heavy rain soak time may be reduced to three hours. Please reach out to discuss. The heater is completely electric and takes hours to heat in winter. Guest access You will have access to our 2 bedroom 2 bath home. Please park in the driveway. There is no access to the "little house" located adjacent to the home. No RV hook up to the house utilities or additional guests to stay in Rv's on-site. We charge extra for more than 3 guests. Other things to note The hot tub takes 3-6 hours to heat depending on the time of year. So we have it programed for optimal use. 5-10pm nightly. Replacing the blue solar cover is imperative after each soak. Replacing pool cover nightly will ensure a warm pool the next day, when available. There is an additional $100 daily fee to heat the pool this must be requested at least 3 days prior to arrival. The pool is heatable when the ambient nighttime temperatures are above fifty degrees. The hot tub and pool will not heat at the same time. No motorbikes or other vehicles/ride on's on the side yard. Outside music should be kept to a minimum as sound travels on the hill. If you plan to go to Joshua Tree National Park, search: "JTNP fee pay" to check visitor status, prepaid cards that can shorten the line to get in.
