Check-in and check-out on Friday or Saturday. The space Please note: For the months of July and August and the holidays, this vacation rental is only rented for a minimum of one week. This house is under the protection of Historic Monuments, lovers of old stones will be delighted. On the ground floor: A large garage A living room, kitchen, dining room, shower room with toilet. ---------------------------- Upstairs: 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and an independent toilet. ---------------------------- We provide bed linen and tea towels for the kitchen, but we draw your attention to the fact that towels are not provided by us, please provide them in your luggage. Outside you have a private garden with barbecue. The cottage is clean on your arrival, it must be returned to us clean on your departure (broom, shovel, vacuum cleaner and mop are at your disposal in the cottage). A meticulous cleaning will be carried out for the well-being of the following guests. Guest access Our guests of the gîte have access to the swimming pool, open in the summer, which is to be shared with the occupants of the castle. Wood for a small fire in the living room fireplace can be provided. Please note: The estimated time of arrival is 4:30 p.m. but we can be flexible if you plan to arrive later, please just let us know so we can adapt. Cleaning option at the end of the stay: €80 to be paid on site. The gite must, however, be regularly maintained during the stay. If the cottage is made really too dirty, we have the cleaning done by a specialized company and deduct the total amount of the invoice from the refund of the deposit. Heating option: domestic fuel oil billed according to your actual consumption based on the price on the date of your stay. Electric car charging option: on standard 220v socket. Cost €15 per recharge. Other things to note Our guests benefit from the superb castle park (45 ha) with century-old trees, nature lovers, provided they are silent, can observe the wildlife (wild boars, deer, deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels, birds of prey...), 40 species of birds recorded in the park in April 2017 and this has increased a lot since we changed our space maintenance techniques towards respect for biodiversity, we no longer use any phytosanitary products. Our bucolic guests are not disappointed with their stay in Ternay: the site is renowned for its flora (mainly wild orchids and mushrooms of all kinds; if the season and weather conditions are favorable). For athletes, the ping pong table and swimming pool* are at your disposal on site, a small cross in the park is ideal for oxygenation. Other activities are available nearby. *The swimming pool, open in summer, is to be shared with the residents of the castle.
