Our Cabin: 'Wandering Bear' is nestled on 3-acres of property, among the beautiful forests of Double Knob Mountain. Perfect for those seeking sunset views and a harmonious blend of nature, with the comforts of home. This romantic retreat invites you to stargaze from the hot-tub on the outdoor deck, or cozy up by the heat of the fire in our newly renovated living area. For those interested in wandering, we are positioned less than 30 minutes from both downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The space Our newly renovated space, offers top of the line amenities including: hardwood floors, propane fireplace, hot tub (drained & disinfected after each guest), outdoor fire-pit, outdoor grill (propane), washer & dryer, enclosed pet-area, WiFi + Smart TV’s for your streaming services, home telephone, heating & air conditioning, stainless steel appliances (microwave, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator), granite countertops, fresh linens, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, shampoo & conditioner. Guest access Entire property. Owners closet (back side of house) will remain locked. Other things to note *If bringing a dog, note that we do charge a Pet Fee of $60, which is due prior to your stay. Please include the # of pets in your initial booking (max of 2 dogs allowed), in order to include that fee in your total. The pet fee is a $60 total (not per pet) and this allows us to focus additional cleaning time before the next guest, ensuring no allergens are left behind by your furry friend! Please Note: To prevent excessive cleaning needs, a maximum of 2 dogs may accompany you during your stay. * The minimum age requirement to rent our cabin is 21 years of age. The person making the reservation must be one of the guests who occupies and remains with the rental group throughout their stay.
