Sanddune Guesthouse (Lazy Lobster), Shakas Rock

Lazy Lobster is a unit on the ground floor opening onto the sparkling blue pool and garden. A close walk to Thompsons Bay Beach, popular for swimming, fishing and snorkeling. There are shark nets and Lifeguards. High Rock our local fishing spot has benches to enjoy a coffee or sundowner while gazing at the ocean. We are situated between Ballito and Salt Rock with loads of restaurants, places to visit and things to do for the perfect beach holiday. You wont want to leave. The space You enter the apartment from the swimming pool side of the guesthouse. Lazy Lobster is a small apartment suitable for two people only. It has a double bed, two comfortable lounge chairs, a smart TV and a ceiling fan. We have excellent wifi. With Netflix and Youtube available on the smart TV. The bathroom consists of a toilet, shower and basin. Bath towels and Beach towels are provided. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, kettle and bar fridge. Cutlery, crockery and glasses are supplied Guests are welcome to braai on either the gas skottle or charcoal braai's around the pool or on Top Deck. The unit is serviced every day if arranged except for Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays. Guest access Guests are allocated one parking per apartment. Uber is a little unreliable for local village trips. It is fine for airport transfers. Bring some groceries if you Uber in as you do need to drive to the shops and ATMs. We do have a taxi service called "Dolphin Coast Taxi's" which has been quite popular and good for early morning trips to the airport. Checkers 60 minutes and Uber Eats are very popular for food deliveries. Other things to note At Sanddune Guesthouse we have five separate apartments, each one sleeping two guests. We aim to have a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, keeping the noise to a minimum but at the same time enjoying the guesthouse and it's beautiful unique location. Visitors are not allowed unless previously arranged with the host.
