Beautiful home in a fully-fenced one acre park like setting. You will be surrounded by nature with lots of wildlife coming to greet you. The house is located at a walking distance of Hendricks Park and its famous Rhododendron Garden. Being in proximity of giant ancient trees is a delight for the eyes as well as the Soul. The bottom floor, ‘The Fawn Lilies Studio’, is reserved to other Airbnb guests. The two spaces are totally independent, having their own access, their own patio… The space Your room is a master bedroom with a king bed, 2 lounge chairs, a desk, a VCR. Connected to the room, there is a large walking closet and a superb bathroom with a walking shower. As you get out of your room, you will find a laundry machine and a dryer. On your right, you will find a beautiful kitchen with oven, microwave, wine cooler, dishwasher, air fryer, Nespresso pod machine, pots, pans, ustensiles, plates, cups and spices. Beyond the kitchen is a bar where you may enjoy doing computer work or watching the ‘dance’ of the cook. The dining room can accommodate easily 6 persons. Finally the very comfortable living room has a very comfortable desk where you can do remote work and a daybed overlooking century old trees. Deers, turkeys, squirrels are the only guests allowed to share our peaceful garden. Let us know if you are trained to use Crystal Bowls (7) and Paiste Gong. If not, they will be removed before your arrival. No fire in the fireplace. Thanks! Please enjoy the garden as well as the patio. A barbecue with one gas burner will be available to you. Be sure to clean it perfectly for our next guests after you use it. Thanks! Guest access The garage, the extra-bedrooms and the bottom floor are out of limit. Give us the last 4 digits of your phone number, it will be your special code to open the front entrance smart-lock. Let us also know at what time you plan to leave (before 11:00am). We invite you to park under the carport. Other things to note The kitchen is huge and beautiful. People can sit at the bar or help the cook(s) to prepare the most delicious feast. The dining table accommodates 4 people or more. You may also choose in the summer to dine/have a barbecue on one of the patios. The living room is perfectly lit. Yoga mats, crystal bowls, gong are available to you, if you need. Our home is a perfect place to organize women's circles, qi gong workshops or yoga retreats. Perfect place also to write and be inspired by the beautiful surroundings. There is a special book collection for children. The Master Bedroom's bathroom and walk-in closet are huge. You may enjoy the fountain in the garden and the 'Circle of Life' where you can do 'Walking Meditation' or practice 'Zang Fu Gong'. 'Hendricks Park Sanctuary' is a very special place, surrounded by beautiful trees, where you can experience a perfect interlude and let go of the stress of daily life.
