As well as enjoying the peace and quiet of the mediaeval village guests are invited to visit Viola’s farm, Podere Le Lapole, (a 5 minute drive) where they may use the marvellous swimming pool set amongst the olives. A few minutes drive from the village takes you to the historic thermal baths at Petriolo. Natural hot sulphurous springs on the banks of the river Farma. The hot water from deep within the earth, pours down through a series of baths into the refreshing river. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by woodlands and nature reserves.
