Fun holiday home in quiet family neighbourhood for families/friends with private 8 mtr magnesium pool. Pool heated to 25/27 degrees April/May and Sep/Oct. It’s not a party house and pets stay free. Please note we are not located on the busy Ewingsdale road as shown on the Airbnb map. Well located for access to festivals - bus stop for the Bluesfest bus is less than 5 min walk. If driving it’s between 15 and 25 mins. Main house: Our 3 bedroom house can sleep 6 adults (or 7 if using the trundle bed in the double bedroom but this trundle is for children only.) The trundle is great for kids and we don’t charge for the 7th person when using the trundle. If you have 7 or more adults you have to rent the tiny house as well - select 8 adults when booking. To see total cost including the tiny house, select 8 guests when booking. Tiny house description- Mezzanine area with queen bed that Sleeps 2, lounge area and bathroom downstairs, and air con. See photos and please note this wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues as the sleeping area is not on the ground floor. Not suitable for children. We use a professional linen service and cleaning company and follow the new Airbnb Covid-19 cleaning protocols. Well behaved house trained dogs welcome and the garden is fully fenced although the back fence is around 1 metre high so may not be suitable for larger dogs. No extra charge if you bring your pet along. Main house - family bathroom with bath and shower plus a separate toilet. Large open-plan lounge with high ceilings, 15 foot sliding glass doors leading to the deck, garden and pool. The open plan dining/kitchen area has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the pool and the house is very light and airy. Nespresso pod machine. Insect screens on all doors and windows. Large dining table that can seat up to 8. Private garden wraps around the house and overlooks a nature reserve at the back of the house. No neighbours behind us at all making it private and peaceful. It’s a popular space for families with board games, garden, and private 8 metre swimming pool. In April/May and Oct/Nov the pool water is heated. The pool is not heated in Winter and Summer. Outdoor shower located in the garden. We are also within 5- 10 minutes drive from the following wedding venues - Elements, The Three Blue Ducks, Ewingsdale Hall, The Secret Garden, Beach Byron, Byron Bay Surf Club, Figtree and Victoria’s at Ewingsdale, Travelling with kids? We have plenty to keep them busy. Large screen tv with Disney Netflix. Great playground 2 minute walk from the house, board games, umbrellas/sun shades and picnic hamper available. We also recommend our favourite family spots in the area! We offer babysitting for children 3 years and older so please ask about this service if interested. Please note our garage is not available but there is Off-road parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Outside- there are 3 outdoor seating areas, 2 of which are shaded, outdoor beanbags, sun loungers, gas bbq, dining table and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxing. The nature reserve with small water pond is accessed at the back of the house so care must be taken with small children as this is not fenced off from the back garden. We can put up a temporary small fence if needed which is great for keeping smaller dogs and smaller children away from the very back of the garden so let me know if you’d like this in place. Need cot/pushchair rental, restaurant recommendations, grazing platter, birthday cake, caterer, surfing lesson, bike rental, whale watching trip, massage or a yoga class? We can point you in the right direction. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and garden except for the garage which will be locked. Parking for two cars available in the driveway. Washing machine and dryer in laundry room. Gas bbq, garden and private pool are all there for your exclusive use. Other things to note Welcome package provided - fresh coffee, tea, local cookies, wine and goodies to get your holiday started! Pool Maintenance - In Summer and Spring, if staying 5 days or longer, we will need access to the garden only for 1/2 hour to clean the pool. We set up a mutually convenient time with you to enable us or a pool company to do this. Foodies? We can recommend some local food tours and cooking classes showcasing the best this region has to offer. Guest info including - maps, local area info, local menus and top tips. Basic staples -tea, filter coffee, oil, spices etc provided. All linen and towels provided including pool towels. We use a professional linen company. Noise - as we are in a residential area noise must be kept to a minimum especially at night. No noise outside after 10pm.
