This private little cottage makes a great getaway destination. Enjoy a quiet retreat with serene views of a pond and nature. Relax by the gas stove after a day of skiing, biking or exploring Bellingham. Read a book on the deck while the blue heron fishes or deer stroll through to eat fallen apples. Situated on 5 acres, explore the grounds or cozy up in your guest cottage located across the yard from the main house. The space While we are only 4 miles to downtown Bellingham you will feel like you are in the country. The space is perfect for a couples get away or for a solitary retreat. The property is shared by the owners, but with 5 acres there is lots of room for solitude. We are pet friendly and ask that you let us know if you plan to bring yours. We have pets ourselves and like to know ahead so there are no surprises. Please see “other things to note” for more details. Guest access Guests have the cottage and back deck to themselves. The rest of the 5 acres outdoor areas are shared spaces and we encourage people to explore and use the different yards or trails. Other things to note We are pet friendly and like our guests to be able to travel with their pets as we also like to travel with ours. We ask that your pet is well potty trained and that you keep a close eye out for potential marking. Since other pets have visited there is that extra temptation from even the most well trained dog to mark an area. We charge $25/pet for the duration of your stay. Thanks!
