The Olde Creamery Farm Stay

Welcome to The Olde Creamery! Home of our "gourmet pantry" range! Hosts Gareth & Jamie welcome you to spend a night or a few in our own patch of paradise. The home is a refurbished soldier settlement era house set on 3 acres. We have styled the house with a country rustic feel. We have our own array of animals for you to meet, including Wispa and Skye our Border Collies, Kylie the cat (a favourite with our guests), Dani the parrot, Ramsay the goat, plus our livestock. The space The guest room is fitted with a Queen bed, fitted with King size french linen. Our reviews are consistent regarding the comfiness of the bed! The room now has a SmartTV so that you can relax and unwind to your favorite Netflix shows or catch-up shows! The home is surrounded by established gardens and paddocks, so you can soak in the space's natural beauty from virtually every window! We have amble parking camp trailers/caravans. Well-behaved animals are also welcome here and can sleep in the room with you also. The room is thoroughly cleaned between guests. Please review our rules for pets. During your stay, you can be as hands-on with the animals as you like, and can even learn to milk our cow, Miss MooMoo, if that's your thing! Whilst we have a wealth of tourist places to visit around us, including a number of country pubs and cafes, we can also provide meals during your stay for those not wanting to venture too far! More details are below. In April 2021, we launched our range of gourmet pantry products, all made here on the farm from the produce we grow or source from local producers. You are welcome to sample our products during your stay & buy direct from us if you wish to. Our products are becoming increasingly popular and are now stocked in several stores across Victoria including several IGA's. Find us on social media to learn more about us! Guest access The local area has a farm gate trail and there are lots of local vineyards to visit. We are close to Yarrawonga (1hr), Echuca (45mins), Bright (2hrs). A popular attraction with our guests is Cactus Country located in Strathmerton. During your stay You can live as part of household, share a home-cooked meal - Gareth's cooking is well known in the local area!! In the winter months, enjoy a mulled wine around a crackling fire. Or in the summer months join us for a cheese and wine evening watching the sunset. Alternatively, we are happy for you to do your own thing - this is your time away from the hustle and bustle of life! Other things to note We are pleased to now advertise meals, having become a registered food premise this year. To assist us in preparing for your stay, please let us know if you would like meals at the time time of booking. Meals can be paid for during your stay. Breakfast - $20p/p Farm Fresh Eggs and Free Range Bacon served on homemade bread, served with our signature tomato or beetroot relish. Full English is available for $30p/p, with the addition of homemade beans, mushrooms, locally grown mushrooms, and sausages. Both are served with your choice of barista-style coffee or a selection of brewed tea. Dinner - $28/pp We have a number of menu items and can tailor your meals to suit your needs, just ask! Popular options are our woodfire pizzas. Pizza bases are made fresh on-farm and topped with local produce (where possible). In winter enjoy the campfire whilst we cook. (Pizzas may be oven cooked during times of fire restrictions/wet weather). For something more formal, you can try our slow-roasted pork or lamb shanks served with mash and locally sourced produce. Or our Chicken Mango Curry (Mild) with homemade Roti Bread. We can also cater to any dietary requirements.
