Luxurious suite for two. Lovingly converted by us, from an old stone cattle shed. Wonderfully tranquil, village location, yet within easy reach of Lyme Regis, Bridport and River Cottage HQ and Kitchen. Beautiful walks from the door. At the end of the day's excursions, there's a beautiful courtyard garden to return to and enjoy early evening pre dinner drinks. The space The Linhay is a bijoux, self contained annex, attached to our green oak self build. Equipped with a cosy living/dining area, galley kitchen and kingsize cabin bed, the apartment has everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. A cozy log burner welcomes guests in the winter months and the courtyard provides an attractive setting for al fresco dining on summer days. On arrival you'll find the fridge stocked with milk, butter and our chickens' eggs (when laying). Tea, coffee are also provided as well as local biscuits. We welcome one, well behaved dog for an additional charge of £20 per stay. (Strictly no dogs on furniture) Please enquire as to house rules re pets. Please let us know at the time of booking. During your stay, you can treat your loved one to a unique experience of the area from the air! As a highly experienced Autogyro instructor, examiner and test pilot, Nick can introduce you to the operational basics, whilst viewing our magnificent, Jurassic and Triassic coastline from above! In the evening, there are many restaurants within a ten minute drive, or you can relax, cook and dine at the annex. There's a television, local interest books, maps and guides to explore. In the bathroom you'll find luxury, hotel quality towels, a walk in wet room and complimentary toiletries. And so to bed... With just two steps up to the kingsize cabin bed, you can retire to the luxurious ViSpring mattress, Siberian goose down pillows and organic cotton linen. The most likely thing to wake you, will be the birds. Other things to note Whilst the bed is only two steps up, this may still make it more difficult than a standard bed to get into, for the older or less able.
