Our home is an extremely peaceful part of Kathmandu where you can feel at home with our family. A choice of rooms, either a private rooftop penthouse with bathroom attached, or a private bedroom with shared bathroom, both of which have hot and cold water. There is free WIFI, nice forests nearby for small hikes, and not far either, the famous Monkey Temple. Breakfast is complimentary, Kitchen and dining are shared. The Shops are nearby if u want to do light shopping. We provide a great environment staying with a Nepali family. The rooftop penthouse is totally private with cable television and internet facilities, clean bath room with hot and cold water, and very impressive roof top views of the Kathmandu valley as well as nearby forests. It will feel like a second home!! Its also possible to share the kitchen and cook together with the Nepali family!! All rooms except host families bedrooms are available to you. That includes the kitchen and dining rooms which are shared. For the guest using the single bedroom, the upstairs rooftop is off limits as this is reserved for other guests. Some members of the host families speak English so communication is not a problem. They have in depth knowledge of the tourists sites in the surrounding areas and can even provide advise as to some good trekking operators should you be interested in mountain trekking. We are an easy taxi ride, 30 min drive from Tribhuvan international airport, 15 walk from the ring road and every 15 mins the micro buses drive to the other cities from our place or you can walk for 15 min to the ring road to get buses across Nepal. You can walk 3 min to the supermarket. Additionally, we will manage all ground transportation, if our guests need, taxi, car, jeep, tourist bus etc. I have trekking agency in nepal if guest want to book any trekking around nepal and bhutan they can book from my agency.
