The Studio has a private entrance, individually controlled HVAC, a queen size bed, lounge chair, desk, television with cable, wifi and a private bathroom. A refrigerator, microwave oven, Keurig coffee maker, ironing board, etc. are included. The Palm Springs International Airport served by taxis, Uber & Lift is 10 minutes away. Available resort amenities include 18 and 9 hole golf courses, 9 US Open tennis courts, 2 climate controlled racquet ball courts, fitness facilities, pickle, bocce and basketball courts nominal fees may apply; more than 30 community pools are available at no charge. The newest and largest pool is approximately 250 feet east of the casita has shower and dressing room facilities, a shade structure and is furnished with ample lounges, umbrellas, tables and chairs. You will be 4 miles from the center of Palm Springs home to community theatres, film festivals, fine art museums, white tablecloth restaurants, cocktail lounges as well as casual cafes and bars many with live entertainment. Ready for hiking and picnicking? Joshua Tree national park is a short drive away. We are permanent full-time resident's who will be available for any concerns during the guests' stay. Because the studio is self-contained interaction between the guests and owners may be limited. You will be 4 miles from the center of Palm Springs home to community theaters, film festivals, fine art museums, white tablecloth restaurants, cocktail lounges as well as casual cafes and bars many with live entertainment. Ready for hiking and picnicking? Joshua Tree national park is a short drive away. The Desert Princess Country Club Palm Springs is a large gated community which includes villas and condominium units. Within the community there are walking, running and bike paths. Traveling to and fro the airport or points of interest is best accomplished by auto, taxi and ride sharing services. There is a 13% Occupancy Tax that will be charged and is due upon arrival. 12% for Cathedral City plus 1% for Greater Palm Springs Tourism Business Improvement District ( GPSTBID). Payment is to be made by cash, check or by certain selected money transfer apps. The Casita is designed for maximum of 2 adults. Therefore, it is not suitable for children under 12 yrs of age. In addition, no smoking and no pets. Only one car is permitted to be parked on the premises during the stay. The Desert Princess Country Club is a gated community and requires the following information for all non residents/renters. It's for safety reasons and also to adhere to Cathedral City ordinances for short term vacation rentals ( STVR, less than 30 days). So the following is to be provided at least 5 days prior to your arrival : -Your address -Your driver's license number & state -The name of anyone who will be staying with you -Your license plate number ( if you are renting a car you can provide the license plate number upon arrival) up to 2 cars is permitted. In addition, all guests are required to comply with Cathedral City noise and outdoor activity standards and regulations as well as respecting neighbors' privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property. No outdoor music shall be used outside at any time. Music from inside of the STVR shall not be heard beyond the property line of the STVR at all times. Use of outdoor amenities/activities that create noise is prohibited from 10pm to 8am.
