Mimosa Heritage Cottage can sleep 7 - 2.5 bedrooms
Description
This quaint little cottage is tiny but also tends to be a welcoming and relaxing space. Due to the Corona virus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations and aiming to have at least a 72hr wait between bookings. The space This house is an old brick cottage near the centre of Geelong. It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a full kitchen. It also has electric heating and cooling, gas hot water, and two locked doors at the front door. It can sleep 7 people, including a queen bed in each bedroom, a double sofa bed in the living room, and a single air mattress that can be set up on any spare floorspace. When both the blockout roller blinds and blockout curtains are used, not much light can wake you up. These window dressings also help keep the heat out when kept closed on hot days. This quiet house is a good place to relax. We also take extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between bookings. The front door opens onto the front yard and parking area, which can also be seen from the kitchen. It has been well maintained and frequently upgraded. Complimentary coffee, tea and sugar are available to get you through your relaxing stay. Please let me know if there is anything else you would find useful to include. Guest access You would have full access to the house. Other things to note You will need to lock the doors and any vehicles parked at the front at all times. There have been warnings from the police about thefts over the years. For religious worship, the closest is the East Geelong Uniting Church up the hill, below the telephone tower and beside the cemetery. There is some information available about services online. They welcome people of all faiths and have a Sunday service at 9:30am.
