THIS PLACE MAY NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU (although I hope that it is). HIPPIE COMPOUND VIBE HERE. SUPER FRIENDLY. GLAMPY RUSTIC. NO SMOKING INSIDE OR OUT FOR MANY REASONS! Tobacco users please look elsewhere. No pets please. That being said: The ad says East Congress but this is most definitely South Congress... 7 night maximum (longer stay could be discussed during your stay). This is a large RV/Casita (26' 5th wheel RV yr. 2000 w/slide out). It is permanently parked here at CampEZ in South Austin TX. Unique high ceiling and hardwood floor (although very roomy as RV’s go, this is a compact space compared to a house). Usual amenities- fully-equipped kitchen, AC, heat, private bathroom etc. plus loft Queen memory foam bed with all cotton sheets and down filled comforter overlooking a sunny kitchenette. Couch folds down to be an extra bed (maybe not so comfortable?). Separate entrance and private flagstone patio/bamboo garden w/ a chiminea, table and chairs, and a very recommendable out-door shower (indoor shower too). It is situated within “CampEZ” (see other listings for camping options) with a private entrance and shady hang out patio. You may hang out here or head into the campground and check out activities there. Wood fired European style sauna and a creek-side picnic/campground area available. (*notes*) a) you may see a bug or two and/or a spider or spider web- we live close to the earth here at Camp EZ and in central TX that's just how it is. b) this is a 20+ year old trailer and you will notice a tatter or two and it will smell different than a conventional home and you may see a little dust. Overall we keep it very clean. I have 2 acres on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, Food Trucks and lots more). We have 3 cats, 6 sweet mini goats, a 2 miniature donkeys, chickens, ducks and a big organic garden here at my funky little 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing, mostly not, and not really swim-able) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. Lots of remodeling and flood cleanup chaos here right now but plenty of pretty and secluded nature as well. I like vintage travel trailers and there are a few here at this Gypsy camp (some are listed!). I also host a very popular and large community PotLuck party (you’re invited)!) on the 2nd Wednesday of every month -campfires, food, music, friends. Big Fun! Short walk to bus stop and historic Hills Cafe and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. NO SMOKING INSIDE OR OUT FOR MANY REASONS!
