Enjoy your stay in our secluded 640 sq ft one bdr small, private cottage. Equipped with a full kitchen, bath, washer and dryer. A nice deck to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It is country living with easy access to many places: Lindale, Tyler State Park, Tyler, Canton Trades Days, Mineola and Gladewater. Unplug and unwind at The Lazy Possum.....because sometimes we all need to play possum! The space Our beautiful place is located within a named summit in Texas called Todd Mountain. This enables you to experience fantastic views from atop of our rolling hills. Legend has it that at the top of the summit (not located on our land) there was a cave that Bonnie and Clyde used as a hideout. The cave has since collapsed. This is oral history passed on to me from a 90+ year old woman that used to play in the cave as a little girl. Guest access The entire 640 sq ft. house is available. Enjoy the porch, a camp fire and the beautiful night sky. Other things to note The kitchen has pots, pans, utensils and a small pod coffee maker. We also have a small bar b que pit on request (bring your own charcoal) and a campfire area to enjoy a cozy fire outside. (subject to local burn ban laws) This is a working farm so it is covered under agritourism laws.
