Spacious 1 BR Apt in NOMA/Union Market

Immerse yourself in the creative flair of DC’s renowned Union Market, where food, fashion, music, and art collide to create a lively community that has it all. You’ll never tire of the ever-changing landscape of restaurants, retail, and recreation that makes up this burgeoning hotspot. This metro-accessible destination means easy access to H Street, Union Station, and the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station, convenience is always mere blocks away. The space The bedroom has a queen size bed and a large closet with hangers. Two nightstands each outfitted with their own bedside lamp. There is also a sound machine if you prefer white noise, crickets, or any other nature sounds. Me, my wife, my daughter and our small whoodle live above the apartment. You will occasionally hear the patter of small feet. If you are a light sleeper there is a sound machine in the bedroom. Also, we try to keep the dog away from the area above the bedroom during late night and morning hours. Families: A Graco Pack 'n Play is available (located in the closet). I only ask that you use the mattress cover located next to it. The bathroom has a nice roomy shower and is stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There is also a hair dryer located in the bedroom drawer. Iron and ironing board are located in the washer/dryer closet. There is a full kitchen with pots/pans/plates/cups/utensils/tea kettle and coffee station (Keurig)! The living space is cozy with a sleeper sofa (queen size mattress) that can double as an extra bed. There is a Roku flat screen tv that will allow you to stream all your favorite programs. Guest access: It is self check-in with a personalized code, so no need to worry about arranging a time to meet to exchange keys. The Neighborhood: We are located in the popular NOMA/H street area. H street is lined with delicious/unique restaurants & bars. Union Market is two and half blocks away with a variety of local food and drink popups under one roof. You are also walking distance to Trader Joe’s (2 min door to door), Whole Foods and Harris Teeter if you prefer to cook. Getting Around: We are walking distance to the metro, local buses, and capital bike share. Since we are in the heart of the neighborhood you will never have to wait long for a Uber or Lyft. Parking: There is ample street parking that is free on the weekends. Street parking is free for 2 hours M-F 7am - 8:30 pm. If you require guest pass, please include your make/model/color of vehicle including state and license plate number. I will print it out and leave it on the table. Another thing to note, my wife and I are big time travelers so we can appreciate when someone comes to town and wants the local flare. We are happy to provide touring suggestions and other recommendations that might be more off the beaten path.
