Our charming annex offers a peaceful haven for couples, families, and solo travelers. Located in Penrhiwllan, near Newcastle Emlyn, it's the perfect base for exploring the beautiful beaches of New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith, and Penbryn. Only 5 min from Llandysul kayaking centre. *Ideal for:* - Couples seeking a romantic getaway - Families with up to 4 members - Solo travelers looking for a relaxing retreat - Dog walkers and owners who want to explore the coast with their pets The space Visitors enjoy our stunning country views and the spacious garden. The single storey annex room with double bed is light, modern and clean, with a fantastic ensuite with walk in monsoon shower. The newly furnished lounge with wood flooring, tv and sound system has a sofa bed and can be used as additional sleeping space for families or/and a lounge to unwind and relax. We have a cosy wood burner for the colder nights. There is a coffee machine, Tassimo pods, tea, coffee, sugar and fridge with fresh milk. We provide bowls, cups, wine glasses, plates, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, ninja air fryer and some snacks to enjoy. There are 2 TVs that have Nextflix and free wifi available for our guests. The annex is accessed via a private door so visitors can come and go freely. We allow small dogs to stay. We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower wash. We have hairdryer in drawer next to the bed. If you need a laptop desk please ask as we have one we can provide. The village of Penrhiwllan is a 8 min drive to Llandysul where you will find a traditional town that has coffee shops, Welsh gifts shop, art gallery, pubs, hairdressers, beauty parlour, butchers, Chinese and Indian takeaways, spar and Cks. The river attracts visitors who enjoy the paddlers centre where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards to go on the lake or river with instructors. Newcastle Emlyn is an old market town steeped in history and myth. Only 10 min drive away you will find an old ruined castle, retail and coffee shops, pubs, garden centre, take aways and antique shops. New Quay is a 20min drive and is a coastal town famous for it's bottleneck dolphins. Here you can enjoy boat trips, paddle boarding and kayaking or just enjoy the view along the pier. There are plenty of gift shops, fish and chip shops ice cream, pubs and resteraunts to discover. Aberaeron (25 min drive away) is a beautiful, picturesque fishing town that is famous for its bright painted houses. There you will find great eateries such as The Harbourmaster, Y Seler, The New Celtic Restaurant, The Hive, Manuka and The Stubborn Duckling. The town includes some independent boutique shops, an art gallery, gift shops as well as a deli, ice cream parlour and coffee shop. In the summer the town welcomes people to their food festival. While on August bank holiday Monday the town comes alive with the famous carnival day with floates, fair and children's entertainment. Cardigan is 25 min away. The pretty marker town was voted one of the best in uk to visit for its vibrant creative arts scene, gorgeous Georgian buildings, independent shops and great places to eat such as Pizzatipi, Crwst, Mannucci’s Italian restaurant, The copper pot and Yr Hen Print works. Cardigan bay is close by where you can visit the cardigan bay wildlife centre, go on dolphin spotting boat trips or play golf along the coast. Gwbert, Mwnt, Aberporth and Poppit sands are beaches that are highly recommended for visit. Carmarthen is also only a 25 min drive from us. Here you will find a town full of shops, resteraunts, pubs, cinema, bowling and swimming leasure centre. There is plenty of festivals and shows taking place there throughout the summer. Laugharne is where you can visit Dylan Thomas's boat house and see where he wrote many of his famous poems. Guest access Enjoy private, step-free access to your accommodation via a short tarmac drive and small car park. A lockable key box with a code ensures easy, independent entry. Other things to note 15 min drive to the coast. **"We charge £10 per night for 1 dog to stay*** Local beaches and lovely towns nearby include Llangranog, Tresaith, New Quay and Aberaeron. Drive through Penrhiwllan. Pass the Daffodil pub on your left, carry on down that road past the row of bungalows on the right hand side. Then you will see signs for a mot centre and a hard wear store on the right. Slow down as you pass the row of terraced houses on your left. We are the first place on the right after passing the end of the terraces houses. BRYNMYRDDIN house sign on the pillar. Our dorma bungalow has a short tarmac drive leading up to a garage with black garage door. Please ring or text us before arrival for the key code. Key box on wall on left side of the door. This is the door into our guest room.
