Meadview is a small desert town. We are an awesome Campground in the midst of it. You can bring your Horses, OHVs', Boat, or just yourselves for a desert get-a-way! Endless trails from the park, or just relax under the magnificence of desert nature. Lake Mead & Colorado River are just down the street! The night sky is full of stars with no light pollution is something to remember! 2 Restaurants in town or the bar, Fishermans Landing for a cold beer and live music on certain weekends! Located on our charming and rustic Campground called Happy Trails. The Farmhouse overlooks the campground and has stunning views of the Grand Wash cliff from your front yard sitting area.. You can even see the view from inside! Comes equipped with a kitchenette. Includes fridge, microwave, and stove. No oven.Basic cooking and eating essentials are also. Bathroom with shower, toilette & sink with vanity. Does have hot water. Bed is a short Queen/Full. It’s a trailer size and isn’t a large full queen size. Sleeps two fine but larger/tall people may be too cozy. Plenty of closet space all throughout. PETS We are a pet friendly Space. Sometimes it’s piss poor at best. We do all we can to get better service, but sometimes Meadview is just not the best, we are in the desert on the outskirts, please don’t come for big city perks. So if you are coming for the WIFI and big lights, not the space for you. Its about getting away from it all. Verizon works great all through town. Complimentary coffee is served in the AM around 7:30, at the office. Our services are typically from 8am till sundown. You may check in late and do self checkin any time. When you arrive you can go to the office and shoot us a message or text to have someone come up, if no one is there at time of arrival. Often Dave and Hans are down at the office having coffee in the mornings, or working around onsite. But typically guests do their own thing. We are a wild town... by wild I mean in the desert wilderness wild! Don't be surprised if you see a heard of wild horses, donkeys, coyotes, and many other wildlife cruising around!! We are 45 minutes from then Sky Walk, 10 minutes from the Lake and 0 minutes away from endless outdoor trails.. We are no frills kind of place and we see that as a perk. The town is very small so the outdoors are left to be your entertainment. Kayaking, Boating. biking, Hiking, horse back riding and UTV riding. Just a tip for food. Their are no grocery stores in town. Kingman or Boulder City are the closest places. There is a Family Dollar store, 5 miles away, that has essentials and snacks etc. Two Restaurants in town, gas station and a bar that has local talent on holiday weekends, One Mile away. Get around by your own vehicle, horse, walking or ohv... You'll see plenty of side-by-sides being used as transportation in this town! :) PETS We are a pet friendly Space.
