Description

ThresherShack is located directly at Logon Beach, Sunset Cove amid a picturesque tropical garden. You can enjoy a scenic sea view, stunningly beautiful sunsets and a refreshing breeze from the sea. Guests can enjoy diving with the famous thresher sharks at our on-site dive shop Divelink Cebu at discounted prices. In addition, our friendly staff can arrange trips to Kalanggaman Island, snorkel trips, packed lunch, massage and airport transfer. The space Our gorgeous beach cottage features a king-size bed which can be converted into two single beds, a sofa bed, a furnished veranda with sea view, hot water, a fan and Aircon. PLEASE NOTE: The last ferry leaves in Maya at 5.30 pm. Night transfers are not allowed. Guest access The village and several restaurants are just a few meters away. You can have breakfast or a chat with other guests at our restobar. Free Wi-Fi access is provided throughout the premises. During your stay Relax enjoying the sunset with us while having a drink at the beach. Other things to note How to get to Malapascua from Cebu: 1. The budget way: Take a bus from the Cebu North Bus Terminal to Maya. Travel time is 5-6 hours (depending on traffic) and the fare is P163 for non-aircon bus, P200 for aircon bus or minivan. In Maya, take the public boat to Malapascua. The ticket is P100 plus additional P20 per person and P20 per bag in case it's low-tide and you have to use a flat boat to transfer you to the ferry. Public boats are operating from 6:30AM to 5:30 PM (every 30 minutes) weather permitting. 2. The comfortable and easy way: Let us arrange your transfer. That cuts our travel time to Maya down to 3-4 hours (depending on traffic) and saves you the trip from the airport to the bus terminal. A car (up to 2 persons) is P3,000 and a van (up to 8 persons) is P4,500. A private boat (up to 20 persons) is P1,500 (from 7:00 AM to 5:30PM), plus the additional fees for a flat boat as described above. Please don't forget to bring enough cash to the island, since there's no ATM in Malapascua. Credit cards are not accepted everywhere and the bank fees for credit card payments are quite high. Exchange rates for foreign currency in Malapascua are lower than in Cebu.
