The space Let your soul wander in our apartment in an extraordinary country house near the North Sea, surrounded by forest and pastures, in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Schleswig-Holstein. In just a two-minute walk you can reach the untouched nature reserves of the Geest region between Heide and Itzehoe. Those who come here for the first time are surprised by the diversity of the landscape with wooded hills, endless meadows, moorlands and rolling hills. To the west, Meldorf Cathedral greets you, and to the east, 1.5 km away, is the legendary Riesewohld, the largest contiguous forest area in Dithmarschen. And the pure sea air always blows over from Meldorf Bay. Here is our beautiful country house, on a very spacious garden property with an orchard, pool area and adjoining paddock. You will spend carefree days here, alone as a couple or with a small family. The restoration of our property created a friendly and bright ambience with modern comforts, but the charm of an old farmhouse was preserved. In the rear area of the house, facing away from the street, a new apartment has been set up. You enter it through a private entrance on the left side of the house and arrive in the hallway, where there is a wardrobe, a beautiful bench and a spacious closet. From there, it goes through the door into the spacious apartment, where you will find everything for a pleasant stay: a solid wood kitchen with high-quality appliances such as new ceramic hob, dishwasher (Miele), etc. Next to it, directly at the large sliding door to the terrace, is the round dining table, from which you can look far out into the garden and onto the paddock. In a cozy living area you can watch TV, read or just chat on the spacious sofa bed. The room divider separates it from the new double bed. In the modernly furnished bathroom, you can fully relax with radio and rain shower. The robinia wood terrace is about 20 square meters and offers additional living space with table, chairs and wellness loungers. The apartment measures 50 square meters including the entrance. Your dog is welcome to travel with you on request. There is also a crib. There is also a baby high chair. The swimming pool (9.15 X 4.5) may be used. It is otherwise only used by the landlord. A Finnish sauna is also available on request. The whole property breathes history, coziness and security, an ideal place to calm the body and mind. The peaceful street with friendly and helpful neighbors also conveys a relaxing vacation atmosphere. Sarzbüttel is a grown Dithmarscher village, far from the tourist hustle and bustle. The first-class Sarzbüttler Feinkäserei is a few minutes' walk away. Heide, the district town of the district of Dithmarschen, can be reached quickly in 15 minutes. Here you can stroll through the largest market square in Germany. Just 5-10 minutes by car are Albersdorf to the east and Meldorf to the west. In both places there are all kinds of shopping. Albersdorf is a well-known climatic spa surrounded by forests with wonderful hiking trails and special sights such as the Stone Age Park and the Brutkamp, a huge burial mound from the Neolithic period. Meldorf - the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is right outside the front door - looks back on a 750-year history and is known for its cathedral and the beautiful old town. But it is also a modern place to live, work and shop. Meldorf is a Fairtrade Town and is distinguished by the principles of a "Cittaslow." Directly behind Meldorf begins the Speicherkoog, a unique nature conservation, recreation and water sports area. Directly in front of the North Sea coast is also a large reservoir, which is very popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. There are also several beaches, a marina with two sailing clubs and a golf course. You will find a variety of beach life in the well-known seaside resorts of Büsum (25 min) and St. Peter-Ording (45 min). Büsum now offers completely redesigned promenades and beaches, as well as the new family lagoon/Perlebucht, one of the most modern beaches in Schleswig-Holstein. The endless expanse of the beaches of St. Peter-Ording is legendary. A day in St. Peter remains unforgotten.
