Quiet time 11pm-7am The space THE HOUSE: This casual, historic home is set in a residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the beach, is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay. AVAILABLE : The Morning Doves suite One large bedroom (queen size) with an attached second smaller bedroom (one person twin bed) and bathroom in our private home, fireplace, hardwood floors with area rug, sitting area, desk, wireless internet, view of Monterey Bay from the garden. We supply Dr Bronners, shampoo/conditioner, cotton swabs, makeup remover pads, towels and face clothes. We have created this to be a self contained unit to be on your own. There is a guest fridge, microwave, kettle and a table and chairs in the porch for your convenience, napkins, 100% compostable cups, plates and cutlery. We will provide a couple of bottles of filtered water and should you need more there are many stores close by. There will be tea, coffee, water and a few breakfast items to get you started on your day, such as yogurt, bananas and breakfast bars etc. You have access to the gardens and outdoor seating areas. Rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products. Please be mindful of our white towels and use makeup remover pads or black face cloths. $10 charge for any towel that is damaged or ruined. Our floors are 100 years old so please remove your shoes. Please use the compost bin provided to dispose of compostable items such as coffee/tea bags, napkins, food waste (no meat), and biodegradable plates and cutlery. 10 yrs of age and older please.
