The space The apartment Samuele i s an apartment of 100 sqm with a kitchen with a sofa, one double bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with bath and shower and a washing machine, a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people and a Lake view terraces and covered veranda. Outside there is a garden with table, chairs and loungers. The apartment Giulia and Samuele are located in the same building, you can book them both together. Availability of 10 beds. There is a private parking available for both apartment in our property. In our village there is a nice restaurant “LIDO DI SALA” where you can eat typical dishes and another one “LA TIRLINDANA” with refined dishes. Both restaurants are located in front of the ISLAND COMACINA which is the only Island of our beautiful lake. There is also one bar that sells good wine , a grocery store, a butcher, one post office and a ATM point by Banca Popolare di Sondrio which is in front of the apartment. For children there is a playground nearby the restaurant LIDO DI SALA ( 10 minuts walk from the apartment) and little swimmingpool in the lake with a beach with see sand ( 5 minutes walk from the apartment). By car in half-an-hour you can reach Como or Lugano ( Swizwerland ) and in an hour by car or by train you can reach easly Milan. Sala Comacina is a quaint little village, surrounded by olive groves, on the stretch of the western shore of Lake Como called "TREMEZZINA”. Rises from the waters off the island Comacina, a land rich in history and sacredness with the ruins of its seven churches, one of which has recently been restored. The village of Sala Comacinais, historically populated by farmers, fishermen and artist builders “ Masters of Como”, is very caracteristic becouse you will find a Church of 1703 AD, many historic buildings, and its streets open onto small squared with a breathtaking view on the lake. Behind it, rise the Monti Lariani from where a trail leading up to 1500MT, while you walk up, you will see diffrent farming villages where time seems toh ave stopped 1800 AD, where some people work the land with hand tools and produce cheese and vegetables. A walk through the mountains, sourranded by lush vegetation, you can see the unforgettable view and it is not difficult to see deer and other animals of the alpine fauna and the typical Fario trout.On this side of the coast there are many historic mansions and monasteries, some of these like VILLA CARLOTTA or VILLA MELZI are visitable. Along the coast there are numerous beaches where you can swim and nice reastaurants where you can taste local specialities. Very caracteristic is the feast of St. John a pyrotecnic event celebrated on Saturday 24th of June or a Saturday close that date.
