This is tiny living, while the Airstream does offer a full size toilet, small shower, two twin beds, futon (folds down to full size bed), TV, induction cook top, refrigerator and microwave, this is still a small space. Outside the camper relax on your site and enjoy a campfire. The campground is yours to enjoy. Take a hike down to the bay on our trail system and enjoy our large children’s playground. Coin laundry and WIFI service is also available to you during your stay. Take a drive, Uber or grab the bus to Historic Newport and enjoy endless natural and historical wonders, excellent dining opportunities and lively nightlife. We hope to welcome you soon! The Airstream and campsite is all yours during your stay. You also have access to the rest of Melville Ponds Campground. You will be staying at Melville Ponds Campground in Portsmouth Rhode Island. We have a front store / front desk that has normal business hours and will always be available to answer any questions you may have and or offer any assistance you may need. Just 5 miles from downtown Newport Rhode Island. Enjoy the action in Newport or for a more relaxed day we invite you to stay on our end of the island and enjoy the campground, local winery, topiary gardens and quiet beaches. We have a public bus stop, RIPTA, just a short walk from the front gate of the campground. The 60 bus will take you direct to Newport from there you can take a water taxi to the festivals at Fort Adams, a shuttle to Cliff Walk and the Mansions or begin your Newport adventure on foot.
